Not your typical easter basket

Easter has yet to officially arrive, and already my son has been bombarded with the sugary goodness that the Easter bunny favors. I've got no problem with that, it is just I wanted to give something a bit different. I decided to fill a basket with an apple, strawberry applesauce, string cheese, a juice box, cereal bars, and one plastic egg with a small amount of money. The money is in place of getting him the Nintendo DS game he wants. This way, he can put the money towards the game he wants, and I don't have to feel too guilty about falling for consumerism this holiday weekend.
