Lamenting the Loss

I am convinced that the desktop computer is dead. There was a major crash and then upon reinstalling windows there was another crash. Someone said a virus. Could be, but I was able to scan for viruses after the reinstall. Not that it would have been ensured to be effective. It could be that the hard drive just gave up and died. Someone who is in the computer know will probably check it out for us, but until then, it's the laptop. Jay is convinced this is the slowest computer on earth, but I've seen this baby on dial-up, and compared to that it runs like the wind now. Although multitasking stresses it out to the extreme and occasionally causes it to reboot.
